efRENTier.com - Find Items To Rent

Translate Into:

What it does

Are you moving to a new city of college and you need some key furniture but only for a short period of time? Or are you sick of spending $200 on a dress that you will only wear once then will collect dust in your closet? Or maybe you are that person with the expensive dress and you would like to make some of that $200 back. efRENTier is a site that can help connect that girl with the expensive dress and that girl with the prom in a month so that they can earn/save money. efRENTier is a site that helps people connect so that they can rent from each other. There are many ways to search. You can search by item category such as furniture, DVDs or clothing. Or you can search by location by typing in your zip code or state. You will then get a list of items for rent with the price, zip code, and user contact information. There is a description of the product with deposit requirements, rental time duration and other details along with a photo of the item. If you a staying in a new apartment for a semester there is no need to buy a refrigerator when you can rent one. There is a University tool which allows you to connect with people who are part of your University community. Search for your University, if it is not listed you can add it. You will then find a map of where your University is located and a list of items that are available to rent. If you are interested in renting out your stuff you can create an account and post your items. efRENTier is a great way to make and save some money.

In their own words

"efRENTier.com is easy to use portal for peer to peer renting in their local area."

Why it might be a killer

efRENTier is a great idea because there are many people who have items that they never use and there are lots of people who need items for a short period of time. It is nice that users can search by location because location is a key factor when renting. The description of the items is very thorough and contains all of the information a user could request. The University section will become very popular because students are in a transitional period of their life and are moving around a great deal. efRENTier is easy to use and will be attractive for a diverse crowd of people.

Some questions

Hopefully more Universities will get involved because Universities have a great community and opportunity to use this service. It would be great if there were user reviews so that the community could know who is good at returning items on time and in good condition. Will efRENTier ever have a for sale section? This section would be very useful for college seniors who want to get rid of their stuff.
