The Chelsea Flower Show - England’s most famous annual garden show - always draws a slew of celebrities and this year is no exception. Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr showed up to see a garden tribute to fellow Beatle George Harrison. Olivia Harrison, George’s widow, designed the exhibit to tell the story of George’s life, from his youth in Liverpool, through his time as lead guitarist for The Beatles to his successful solo career and beyond.
Also spotted at the preview show were Beatles producer Sir George Martin, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Edward, Princess Anne, Prince Albert of Monaco, actor Michael Caine, and several British television personalities.
The show runs from 20 May through 24 May at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea, London.
