It has become clear that Hollywood did not, in fact, resolve over this past New Year to seek out more projects that were not sequels or remakes. As evidence of this, the production of Fast and Furious, the fourth greasy muscle-filled film in a series that kickstarted the careers of both Vin Diesel and Paul Walker back in 2001. It seems almost prophetic, but probably not, that Diesel and Walker would return to this fourth film after not appearing together in either the second or third films. They have returned to give the fans what they want — more cars, more hot women and more crappy dialog. Then again, we aren’t in this thing for eloquence, are we? We just want to see them race. And so we shall, beginning with a set of first look photos published by the USA Today this morning. The photos, which can be seen above and below, show Diesel, Walker and cars but no women. Although within the article, Walker hints at the fact that there will be plenty of that to go around. “Who doesn’t like fast cars and hot women?” he pondered on set. I’m not sure — I’m looking around and I just don’t see anyone who isn’t interested in the aforementioned cars or women. Fast and Furious is being directed by Tokyo Drift helmer Justin Lin. It will co-star Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez and Laz Alonso. It is scheduled to hit theaters on June 5, 2009. Related Reading:
