We have a little emotional balance for you, Bulls fans. The Associated Press reports
Joakim Noah was arrested in Gainesville at 2 a.m. this morning
for alleged possession of marijuana and carrying an open container of amber-colored alcohol. (Crown and Coke? Dos Equis? Who knows?) Jo was subsequently released, but faces minor possession charges.
Noah had an uneven rookie season in Chicago -- he typically played well when he got minutes, but he really didn't see many minutes in the first few months, and he had numerous incidents with coaches and teammates. Scott Skiles
yelled at him for talking to the media early on;
a shouting match between Jo and an assistant coach led to a one-game team suspension, which was extended into
a two-game suspension by regulators
Ben Wallace and
Adrian Griffin.
Discipline this time around will be left to Florida authorities, the NBA, and
John Paxson, as the Chicago Veteran Disciplinary Commission
has been relocated to Cleveland and Seattle, and the Bulls still don't have a coach.
