
HTC are very close to launch the first phone that will run on the Android software from Google. It will be called ‘Dream’, and will have a full QWERTY keypad that will either slide or swivel out and a touchscreen of 3 inches wide by 5 inches long.
Android is an open source platform with an operating system and is designed to take advantage of Internet services for mobility.
HTC are facing strong competition from Samsung and the new phone is expected to be released to the market near the end of this year.
