Speaking of impressions: Sammy Davis Jr. did them too. [Crooner Culture]

Translate Into:

A recent post showed Jim Carrey doing his impression of Sammy Davis, Jr. and gave my sort of moderately-offended-for-Sammy review.

Well here I have a video of Sammy doing impressions of his friends. He sings, “One for my Baby (One More for the Road)” while doing impressions of Fred Astaire, Nat ‘King’ Cole, Billy Eckstine, Vaughn Monroe, Tony Bennett, Mel Tormé, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Kinda cool. As I’m writing the post, the video’s playing in another window. I can’t see it, but I can hear it. And he’s doing a pretty good job of singing a la Nat ‘King’ Cole right now. :)
