Three Essential Gadgets For The Business Traveler

Translate Into:

Flying

Traveling on business is not just about booking flights, finding accommodation and locating airport parking at a good price. It’s also important to make those trips a little easier and, let’s face it, have some fun. To help you with that goal, we’ve compiled a list of useful gadgets for the business traveler. See if you agree with our selection.

Lost In Translation?

If you’re traveling abroad, you won’t always speak the language. That might be fine if you’ve got access to interpreters and translators in your meeting, but what if you want to get out and about and do a bit of sightseeing? If you do, then you need a dictionary, phrasebook or pocket translator. These little gizmos contain thousands of useful words and phrases which will ensure that you are never lost in translation. See Ectaco for some examples.

You’ve Got The Power

One of the issues for international business travelers is whether they will be able to plug in their laptop and other accessories while abroad. Sorry, but no matter how good your laptop, you won’t be able to keep it running on battery power for an entire week. The answer to your problem is a universal power adaptor which will ensure that you can be connected to a power supply no matter where you travel. Add to that a battery pack or universal in car charger - and you really are good to go.

Portable Entertainment

If you’re an organized type you will have your notes and files up to date, so there’ll be plenty of time for entertainment when business is done for the day. Pack your MP3 player and consider taking a portable DVD player. Prices are dropping all the time and the Panasonic Portable LS86 player offers a whopping 13 hours’ playback time.

There are many more gadgets that we could feature. Look out for some of those in the weeks to come.
