Obviously the new Sex & the City movie gave us more fashion than we could handle in the 2 hours that the film ran. One standout piece from the costume department is the studded belt that Carrie wore from beginning to end. Costume designer Patricia Field put the belt over anything and everything that Carrie wore from a full skirted green dress at the beginning of the movie to shift dresses and blouses later in the film.

The belt is vintage, so we thought no one was going to be able to recreate Carrie’s looks down to every detail. Well, with all of this buzz for the belt, Patricia Field has decided to have it recreated and it’s available for pre-order RIGHT NOW at her website. We’ve seen other variations of the belt being pushed since the movie debuted two weeks ago, but this one is from Pat Field herself and at $120, the price isn’t terrible for a snippet of the SATC lifestyle. Now the belt won’t be delivered until sometime during July (more details on that as they become available), but at least you’ll have something to look forward to you as you brave the heat this summer.
