Windows Strata 就是微软的 Windows Cloud OS?

“Windows Strata” 很可能就是前一段时间 Steve Ballmer 提到的 Windows Cloud OS 的代号名称，Kit Ong 最早在 Microsoft Professional Developers Conference 网站上发现了 Windows Strata 这个名称，下图来自 iStartedSomething（ Long Zheng）：

Windows Cloud 不是运行于用户 PC 上的操作系统，关于微软新的操作系统 Windows Cloud，我们会在 PDC 08 上了解更多的。

Mary Jo Foley 在一文中称，Live Mesh Platform 将改名为 Live Framework。另外，在这次 PDC 中，我们可能看到一款在浏览器中运行的  PowerPoint 或其他 Office 家族程序的 Live Mesh 应用，这或许才是正真的 Google Docs Killer，不过是不是 Killer 是要看产品的。

或许 Strata 还会是 Red Dog + 云架构层（管理，虚拟化，网络，存储等）这样的一个平台。现在还没那么多信息来证明这些推测，但就 Strata 这个词来说，意为“层 Layer”。

接下来几天，Live Mesh 服务器将进行维护。不要紧张，可能不是你那的问题 :D。
