This Weekend. . .Blooms Galore at the Point Defiance Flower & Garden Show [The Seattle Traveler]

. . . take a look at every blooming thing at the Point Defiance Flower & Garden Show.

Whether you’re a hobbyist gardener, or more serious about your time in the dirt, there’s something to capture the attention of everyone at this year’s show.

For three days the 12 acres of the Point Defiance gardens and bowl area will be the location for exhibits, demonstrations, arts and crafts, speakers, food and beverage, and entertainment suitable for all ages and all levels of expertise.  You’ll want to allow extra time to enjoy the gardens in addition to visiting all the special exhibits.

Location:  Point Defiance, Tacoma (map it)

Dates & Times:  June 6-8th; Friday & Saturday 10 am - 6 pm; Sunday 10 am - 5 pm.

Tickets:  $10 general admission.  Tickets available on site.  There are a variety of $2 off coupons to be found in local stores and the newspaper.

The show will go on rain or shine, and organizers have planned for both contingencies.
