The Entire MITA Manifesto

Translate Into:

Here’s the entire MITA manifesto. Which theses below would turn your business around this week?

1. People of every race contribute solutions faster when asked key questions with solutions in mind.brainsteps.gif

2. To transfer winning ideas into profitable practices … rejuvenate teaching … learning … and assessment … into a sense of adventure.

3. Teams that criticize will rarely create since one pathway in the brain tends to barricade the other.

4. A business that risks innovations to change the world … will drive the markets with what its workers invent.

5. Hook a new idea to what you already know … and increase the value of what you already knew as well as remember more of what you just learned.

6. Figure out how you are smart and you will be on your way to capitalizing on others’ intelligences too.

7. Recognize the vent for what it is and then create a cool solution to remove the venom from the vent.

8. Deliberately try out much the same tone you’d use to impress superiors … any time you feel crankiness coming on … and then watch for surprising benefits.

9. Let the old socks be … just be careful not to let your brain slip into gumming raisin bagels as a normal practice at work.

10. Whenever you encounter problems at work … check out a new solution … with the brain clearly in mind.

11.  Attach wings to your best ideas and plan a successful journey from where you stand to where you see the target.

12.  There are alarming benefits for those who write out and follow daily targets … over those who wing it and hope for the best.

13. You have the same hours per day as Helen Keller … Pasteur … Michelangelo … Mother Teresa … Leonardo da Vinci … Thomas Jefferson … and Albert Einstein.

14. The last word likely does not exist in facts from higher education classes … but rather in learning how to capitalize on your own brainpower.

15. You rewire your brain’s plasticity  daily for progress or backsliding – with benefits or deficits attached.

16. Serotonin comes in jolts of adrenalin … that can lift you from failure into success on any day you choose.

17. Bring cortisol to work in your brain … and expect several disasters to follow.

18. Stress shrinks your brain and shuts down mental ability at work.

19. You'll likely hit the ground running ... whenever you deliberately punch out panic.

20. Whenever an organization revs on mental chemicals … new zip fuels work that follows.

21. Be careful what you expect … because you’ll likely get it … both the good and the bad!

22. Draw or sketch what’s expected in order to clarify and illustrate the colors lines and textures you visualize in quality outcomes.

23. Shift gears to defend the opposite of your best ideas and you’ll likely head off criticism before it hits.

24. Factor in mistakes and use them daily to make better decisions than the day before.

25. Transform attacks into solutions … with brain based strategies … rather than run for cover when Goferya strikes.

26. There’s at least 22 causes for chemical bankruptcy at work daily … and at least as many serotonin responses.

27. Define a few specific distinctives that could transform your day … and your brain will position these to improve your day.

28. Raise your profits by unlocking neuroeconomic keys to profitability through reasonable risk-taking.

29. Use the adventure of curiosity and wonder to improve what you do on an ongoing basis with evidence of growing quality.

30. Live each day on the other side of worry or brooding and your brain begins to rewire for … and expect successful alternatives.

31. Successful organizations move more intelligences into the mix … as tools to solve daily problems.

32. Avoid all lectures and run from too much talk at all costs  if you want higher results from people’s brainpower at work.

33. Figure out your strengths and then begin to awaken new intelligences in people across your organization.

34. Shadow people who perform at the peaks mentally … to identify and then try to emulate something these people do best.

35. Inventory and try out a few unique capabilities of team members who add most value to any group or project.

36. Reach into your firm’s pool of multiple intelligences to gain a footing at more  competitive edges … and you’ll discover many hidden and unused intelligences.

37. When ideas spring into actions that improve productivity … more people tend to buy into ongoing changes.

38. Rather than gather people at lengthy meetings … it’s far better to engage them in mutually beneficial encounters where they can learn and contribute interactively.

39. Use music at work to jack up productivity … and match the music to the tasks for better outcomes.

40. Plans lunches or finger foods that boost human brainpower … rather than provide chow that drains energy at work.

41 Successful leaders tend to be those who reflect on both their past and futures in ways that improve their next performances

42 When people begin to encourage what works well rather than criticize the flaws … more begins to work well as a result

43 Research shows how wisdom comes to organizations in reflection as thoughtful  workers step back to think about and build on their unique offerings

44 Reflection helps people avoid the meta messages that reduce the value of their contributions

45 Human brains are wired to reflect on renewal and that reflection can lead to change where you work

48 Workers who repay their sleep debts tend to implement insights more successfully and so their firms escape the setbacks that come with sleep loss

47 Reflection and research show both more business intelligences used and more than most people realize - yet to be used

48 It’s possible to survey most organization to measures and improve on brainpower being used at work

49 Don’t act if you sense a 40 percent chance of being right … but neither wait until you are 100 percent sure … when it is already too late

50 People can reboot their brains past the procrastination that stalls business progress

Any talking points here for your firm? What do you think?
