Oh great I thought, Britney Spears has released another episode in the ’she’s going mad, and her singles are getting progressively worse’ soap opera that become her life.

But wait, what’s that coming over the hill? Is it a monster? No, she’s grown her hair back now, but it is a decent single by Britney Spears. Shock, horror, I didn’t see that one coming.

Don’t get me wrong, this is no masterpiece, it’s not even my favourite song of the month, but it is actually okay, and much better than the last two piles of trash she’s put out.

The song has a catchy rhythm to it, and her voice actually suits the style of song for a change. It sounds like something Timbaland would produce, even though he wasn’t involved.

The only dodgy bit is the speaking part which Britney seems to want to do in every song these days. Just stop it Brit, it’s neither big or clever.

The video is brilliant, showing an animated Britney in a three and half minute animé short inspired by classic films such as Akira. Okay, it may only be animated because Britney is currently unavailable, ahem, but still, it works.
