hellooo, gorgeous. i just splurged bought this seriously rad chalkboard from gosia at blue bell bazaar for our living room. she’s starting to collect vintage frames and turn them into chalkboards- which i totally love. it’s such a simple idea but such a fun way to reuse two things you can usually find easily in thrift stores or at stoop sales (in ny at least). i’m trying to create a landing strip (well, more of a landing ’spot’ as there’s so little room) with the help of carl and russell at repop so i thought this would be the perfect (paper-less) way to handle notes, to-dos and messages in the house. we’re redoing the whole living room so as soon as we’re done (about 2 weeks) i’ll have the full photos up- i’m so excited. it involves new seating, lighting, wallpaper, rugs and, finally, a radiator cover. woohoo for change!

if vintage frame chalkboards aren’t your thing, gosia just added a fantastic selection of new products to her etsy shop. there are tons of vintage tabletop pieces and odds and ends as well as some cool vintage charts, and julia’s favorite, porcelain glove molds. click here to check out and shop gosia’s full collection at blue bell bazaar.
[ps: unrelated but equally cool- if you’d like to win a free piece of gorgeous mexican otami-inspired fabric click here!]
