What it does

One of the best parts of New York City living is the great food.New York has some of the most elegant sophisticated restaurants in the world. It also has one of the most diverse spectrum of ethnic foods. One almost every street there is a Thai or Indian restaurant. If you have been living in New York and have a list of your favorite place to eat, you should visit FoodistColony.com and create a restaurant review list to share with others. FoodistColony.com gives you all of the tools you need to create a restaurant guide. Create a user name then begin to add your favorite restaurants. When you list the restaurants you can add a photo, a review, and directions. You guide can include a favorites section along with recipes and a wishlist. You can befriend other users and talk about your favorite restaurants. You can browse through the listed restaurants by looking at the alphabetical list or other users profiles. You can also do a keyword search if you are looking for a specific restaurant. I know that the people on this site know their eats because my I found a review on my favorite restaurant in New York Cafe Habana. List your favorite places to eat and discover new great restaurants by joining FoodistColony.com.

In their own words

"Build your own restaurant guide & custom lists with our awesome set of tools."

Why it might be a killer

FoodistColony.com has an attractive interface and the site is easy to navigate. It is great that users can add comments and rate the restaurants and that there is a separate rating for the user and the community. The google map is a great way for people to locate the restaurant. The homepage does a great job at listing the most recent activity so that users can see what is new.

Some questions

Will FoodistColony.com include additional cities? We all know New York has amazing food but so does Chicago and many other cities in the United States. It would be even greater if one day FoodistColony.com could grow to include international locations, then you would know where to eat no matter where you were.
