ZiPhone für iPod touch und iPhone 1.1.4

Erfreuliche News für alle iPod touch und iPhone-Hacker: ZiPhone liegt jetzt in Version 2.5 vor und ist für jedermann verfügbar (eigentlich sollte die Spender der Vergangenheit bevorteilt werden). Das kostenlose Tool läuft in Kombination mit Firmware 1.1.4 problemlos und schickt euren Bootloader zurück auf Version 3.9 - das Baseband bleibt auf 04.04.05_G. Die Mac- wie die Windows-Version sind knappe neun Megabyte groß und lassen sich auf http://www.downloadziphone.org/ herunterladen. Danke für all eure Mails!

Die ZiPhone Release-Notes lesen sich wie folgt:
"ZiPhone 2.5 is now on download site for you all to enjoy. I decided to release it for everyone since MANY are helping supporting sponsors. And it would not have been fair to them. I suggest you to do a restore to 1.1.4 not an update. Because installer keeps old installed apps in it's cache and you would have problems. Hoping people at conceited software resolve that soon. After restore to 1.1.4, just use "ziphone -Z Y" or the first button on GUI versions. Have fun ! And thanks to everyone for supporting and caring!"

Update: Auch die neu veröffentlichte Version macht noch Probleme mit dem 16 GB iPhone bzw. dem iPod touch mit 32 GB Speicher. Mehr dazu in den Kommentaren.
