Display Problem of Notes calendar in Microsoft Outlook

Translate Into:

I am observing a weird behavior at times when some one sends a Meeting invitation through Lotus Notes. When I accept it, Microsoft Outlook makes two entries in its Calendar. Now, I have to manually delete one entry ensuring 'Delete without sending response' is selected. Any settings acting crazy in between?
