Yesterday I finally cleared the leaves and edged the lawn, rediscovering in the process that there is indeed a storm drain at the bottom of my front lawn, swallowed as it was by creeping buffalo grass. You've got to love that vine, so tenacious and resilient. Anyhow, it was a balmy 78f (26c) and my neck got a little sunburnt. Today we have a winter storm warning, it's about 37f (3c) with snow/sleet this afternoon and a few inches of snow tomorrow ... what the hell is it with the weather this year? 3 times on the TV and radio that 2000 wasn't a leap year since it was a century year. I suppose outside of Programming 101's course work "write a C function that determines a leap year", no one is taught that a century year is a leap year if it is divisible by
