Or if you have a shared network drive loaded with documents you work on collaboratively with other members of your household, small business, or supervillain headquarters, you might want to know when somebody adds $.75 for a bag of Doritos to the budget.
File Alert Monitor lets you designate one or more folders to keep an eye on. When someone creates or modifies or deletes a file in that directory, a notification box will pop up letting you know what actions have been taken and the time at which they occurred. If you're only interested in changes to a specific file type, you can configure File Alert Monitor to only notify you if files meeting your criteria have been changed.
