At “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!” this weekend, we saw the Scrat teaser trailer for “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” coming to theaters July 1, 2009. I’ll post as soon as it’s available, but that poor little guy Scrat is STILL after that elusive acorn, and no closer than when he started years ago.
We’ve loved all these movies, including the Scrat shorts, and can’t wait for this to hit theaters. In fact, I think people look forward to Scrat as much, if not more, as they do the feature movies! I know we do anyway.
More after the jump!
“Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” to be fully produced in 3-D by Blue Sky Studios, is the latest installment of the popular “Ice Age” franchise, which has grossed more than $1.2 billion world-wide, according to ComingSoon.net. It’ll be directed by the Oscar-nominated Carlos Saldanha, who directed “Ice Age: The Meltdown” and co-directed “Ice Age.”
No plot details yet, but as you can see by the poster, all the major players are returning, including Ray Romano as Manfred, John Leguizamo as Sid, Denis Leary as Diego, and Queen Latifah as Ellie.
