一上来就必须说的是，这应该是史上最糟糕的专辑标题，太糟糕了。让人失去了去听它的兴趣，谁想到给自己的专辑给起这么一个鬼名字呢？

越过标题，我们听第一首，“Elephant's Song”，弹开吧，这是一首让人郁闷的歌，好像是那种深闺怨妇唱出来的东西。这种痛苦的声音自始至终都让人压抑。

从歌词的内容看，“The Secret Life”是让人抑郁的。虽然“Cold Black Eyes”里的木笛声是悦耳的，还带着点些许的欢快。

看起来，我们对年轻的 Caz 这么快就下定论，显得有些为时过早，但是不难发现，你会对这张专辑产生兴趣。想一下，这些好听的歌都是在哪里写出来的呢？是在玉米墙上，想象一下，在这个国家，阳光之下的绿洲，想象一下，有一块地方是这样四季常青的，在这里，城镇的欢乐活动从不停息，这张专辑的这种空虚的情绪却能给人这种想象的力量。
