What it does
XLNTads is a portal that aims to change the way that ads are made, much like bootb.com. The site connects important brands with creative independent talent, allowing for the creation of new and fresh advertisements. There are already hundreds of videographers who have signed up and have been pre-qualified to make ads. Brand owners who are interested, first must become members of XLNTads and then they post basic information about the ad they want along with the criteria that should be included. Any of the qualified videographers can then make an ad and if there ad is selected, they can win a prize and often have their work shown on TV or the internet.

Some questions
The quality of ads is remarkably good and there is no reason to believe that this won’t be a success. The only concern is whether they will be able to attract enough companies interested in radically changing the way they make their ads. This site could be seen as a threat to many producers as it is really just cutting out the middle man.
