“雨燕”空间望远镜拍摄到的GRB 080319B伽玛射线爆
伽玛射线爆是宇宙中最为猛烈的爆炸现象之一。科学家们认为,这种天文现象是中子星发生融合或大型恒星发生塌陷的产物,不过,前者诱发的伽玛射线爆持续时间很短,而后者的则较长。
此次超强伽玛射线爆的编号为GRB 080319B,其产生的射线于北京时间3月19日14时12分49秒被“雨燕”探测器所捕获。其编号中的“B”表明这是3月19日记录到的第二次射线爆(当天共发生了5次)。在3月19日14时13分1秒至14时13分11秒之间,位于智利的“Pi of the Sky”广角照相机记录到了这次伽玛射线爆亮度的最高值--达5.76等。专家们指出,如此高的亮度足以被人眼直接看到,这种情况此前还从未出现过。在大约四分钟后,射线爆的亮度逐渐下降到11.10星等。
在接收到“雨燕”探测器传回的信号后,许多国家的天文台都加入到了对这一罕见天象的观测活动之中。
借助欧洲南方天文台“甚大天文望远镜”获取的观测数据,天文学家们对此次伽玛射线爆在光谱中所表现出的“红移”进行了测量,以确定其与地球的距离。据悉,此次射线爆的“红移”达到了0.937,这就意味着,其与地球的距离超过了70亿光年。

“Swift space telescope” had explored a γ-ray explosion of GRB 080319B.
Explosion of γ-ray is quite a common phenomenon inthe universe.The scientists consider that such astronomy phenomenon is coursed by the fusion of neutron stars or the collapes of big stars.But the γ-ray coursed by the latter lasts much longer than the former.
This super strong γ-ray explosine,numbered as GRB 080319B,was caught by "Swift space telescope" at 14:12'49" Mar 19 by the time in beijing.The number "B" indicates the second time of the day that happens five times.From 14:13'1" to 14:13'11" Mar 19,the highest illumination record by the pantoscope in chile,"Pi of the sky",come out to be 5.76.Experts said that peaple can see under such height of illumination.It had never happened before.After about 4 minutes,the illumination slowly declines to 11.10.

By data from the"Very Large Telescope"of westen Europ,austrnomers made survies of the red swift of the γ-ray explosion in spectrum to certain the distance from the earth.It is said that the red swift reach the point of 0.937.That means it's 7 billion lightyear away from the earth.
