For months, I have been saying that this week’s release of Sex and the City is a chance for women around the country to get back at all their boyfriends and husbands for dragging them to see macho movies like Iron Man and Indiana Jones. Fortunately, Sex and the City has enough nudity and raunch that guys can like it too.

In the interest of keeping us sane while being deluged with romantic comedies and period pieces, here’s a list guys can use next time they’re at the video store with their significant other. When in doubt, check out one of these chick flicks that are safe for guys to like too.

10. Father of the Bride

What guy can’t enjoy a good Steve Martin movie? More importantly, the brains behind this film is writer Nancy Myers, and realistically the other films she went on to direct (like What Women Want, Something’s Gotta Give and The Holiday) can make it on the list as well. Sure, most chick flicks are actually directed by men, but leave it to the woman director to make things most accessible.

9. Feast of Love

Here’s one of those movies that wallows in the poetic nature of love, and it’s a strain to watch for a guy who likes action flicks. But the real catch on this movie is that all the hot actresses (Rhada Mitchell, Alexa Davalos and Selma Blair) bare it all in the sex scenes. Fortunately, Morgan Freeman does not.

8. Love, Actually

It’s one of the better holiday films made in recent years, and the cast is utterly charming. It’s also not a typical, canned romantic comedy, and that’s what makes it palatable for guys as well as the ladies.

7. Pretty Woman

A retelling of the Pygmalion tale, this film is the quintessential romantic comedy. And, it’s about prostitutes, so what guy won’t be interested. Plus, you get to see Julia Robert’s boobies, when she was in her prime, no less.

6. Titanic

Back when this movie came out, I waited in line to see it with my wife. During the wait, I proclaimed, “This movie had better have some nudity in it, or I’m gonna be pissed!” All the women in line thought I was a pig. All the men in line silently agreed with me. And we were not disappointed! Oh, and the action sequences are pretty cool as well.

5. The Terminator

Another Cameron movie on the list! This one tells the story of a man who travels back through time to save the woman he loves. And there’s also something about robots shooting people.

4. The Wedding Singer

Before he started doing so-called “serious” films like Spanglish and Reign Over Me, Adam Sandler was a guy’s guy for movies. His rom coms always seem to turn out some comedy for the dudes as well as the women.

3. Knocked Up

On one hand, this film is perfect for chicks because of the pregnancy storyline. On the other hand, it’s got great moments of stoner comedy and raunch all over it. You can enjoy it, no matter where your sexual organs are found.

2. When Harry Met Sally

Back when Rob Reiner couldn’t make a bad movie, he directed this film, which perfectly captured relationships from both points of view.

1. The Devil Wears Prada

This film is considered a chick flick because it takes place in the fashion world with female characters in the lead. However, the story elements are universal and relatable to both sexes equally. Along with Knocked Up, it was one of the most recent chick flicks that guys could enjoy too.

这是一部沉浸在诗意般爱情中的电影。对那些喜欢动作片的男人来说显得有些勉强。但是这部影片的最大看点是许多当红的演员，（比如莱达米歇儿，艾莉克莎·黛沃洛斯，和塞尔玛布莱尔）她们会在影片中许多关于性的场景中有裸露镜头。幸运的是，摩根弗里曼并没有这样做。

8. 真爱至上

它是今年出品的一部比较好的假日电影。当中的镜头非常的迷人。它并不是一部典型的浪漫喜剧，所以它不仅受女人喜爱，男人也会喜欢看。

7. 风月俏佳人

它是卖花女的翻版电影，这部电影是一部典型的浪漫喜剧。而且，它是关于妓女的，所以哪个男人会不感兴趣呢。你会看到朱丽娅罗伯茨在她的鼎盛时期时候的傻样。

6.泰坦尼克号

回想这部电影上映的时候，我和我的夫人一起排着长队等着看。在等待的时候，我就在那里宣扬，“这部电影最好有些裸露镜头，不然我会很厌倦的！”所有排队的女性都会认为我是个蠢货。所有排队的男人都暗暗的支持着我。后来我们并没有失望！而且那些镜头拍的非常不错。

5. 终结者

又一部詹姆斯卡梅隆的影片上榜了！这部电影讲述了一个男人时光穿梭去救他心爱的女人。

里面也有些机器人袭击人类的画面。

一方面，这部电影深受女性喜欢，因为溚其中关于怀孕的故事线索。另一方面，里面有许多精彩的粗俗镜头。你会喜欢它，不管你是男是女。
