荷兰科学家最新研究指出，人们的嫉妒情绪强烈可能与他们的身高有关，身高越矮的人越容易产生嫉妒情绪。这项研究将发表在新一期的科学期刊《新科学家》上。
据报道，荷兰格罗宁根商学院和西班牙巴伦西亚大学的研究人员主持了该项研究。在研究中，他们分别让549名来自荷兰和西班牙的男性和女性志愿者回答调查问卷。问卷列出了假想情敌的各项条件，志愿者必须回答他们在哪种条件下产生嫉妒情绪，并记录下嫉妒情绪的强弱程度。
研究结果发现，男人通常在面对强壮、富有和有吸引力的对手时感到紧张和嫉妒，但随着被调查者的身高提高，这种不安和嫉妒的情绪就会减弱。也就是说，男人遇到的情敌比自己越高时，嫉妒情绪越强烈。而在女性当中，身高对嫉妒的影响并不明显。

Holland's Study:The Connection Between Men's Jealousy and Height
Holland scientists points out in a recent research that the jealous emotion of people may have connection with their height. Those who are shorter are more likely to become jealousy. The current scientific journal,NEW SCIENTIST issues this research.
It is reported that the study is hosted by the Holland Groningen Business College and Spain Columbia University. In this study, 549 male and female volunteers coming from Holland and Spain are required to answer the questionnaire repectively,which consists various requirements of their imaginery love rival. The volunteers are asked to answer the questions like under which circumstances they start to become jealous and to what extend.
The research also shows that men typically get nervous and jealous in front of their opponents,who are sturdy and sexy. However, this jealous emotion weakens with the increasing of the volunteer's height. This also means,the taller their love rivals are, the higher the men's jealous emotion goes. But the study result doesn't show much apprent connection between female's jealousy and height.
