Growing up, Pink was never a favourite colour. I never grew a soft spot for it. I’ve learned to appreciate it more, though. But I will still choose some other colour to wear or experiment on other than Pink. I’m just not too comfortable with it, I guess.
However, with a recent conversation with someone, she told me that Pink is such a happy colour to wear (maybe on apparel or nail polish). It helps brighten up the rest of you (from skin to over-all countenance). It’s a very fun and feminine colour.
I reckon seeing something like the Jersey Bandeau Dress in Pink from Topshop makes me want to agree and give in.

The colour does have its merits. Apart from all the reasons stated above, I’d like to add that it does have this festive quality that’s flexible enough to pull off a simple look AND work with a more elegant one if you couple it with the right sort of accessory or put together a combination to wear at night.
