Yoga can be dangerous, but a lot of people do not know about it!
Yoga seems to become the solutions for most of us! There is no doubt that everybody is doing Yoga these days, and in some places, there even run some Yoga for pets. That sounds a nit ridiculous to me but anything can happens...
I doubt there is something as big as Yoga out there, as Yoga is considred a reunion with God.. The only way to live happily and healthily, Yoga is believed by many the way to achieve the happy and healthy lifestyle.
Come on, for sure there are truths in above sayings but only if you really appreciate what Yoga is.
Yoga has been passed on to us for so many years, and it should not surprise you if some elements had been distorted. Right way of learning Yoga gives you energy and makes you look younger. The incorrect way can kill you without you even knowing it
Some teachers believe "no pain no gain" and try to "brainwash" their students to believe that the no-pain-no-gain saying, and it is crazy! A lot of Yoga gurus are going to tell you that it is perfectly alright to feel pains because you need to practise more? As a matter of fact if any teacher who really understands the gist of Yoga, will tell you that there is no such thing as “no pain no gain”. The true essence of Yoga is about reunion with God. That is the realmeaning of Yoga whether you know it or not.
When you feel pain or hurt anytime during your Yoga lesson, you must stop!. Warm-up exercises are a must-do, if you want your body to feel comfortable doing Yoga..The whole point of doing Yoga is to be healthy, thus, it is silly to hurt yourself becuase of Yoga.
It is even more dangerous to you if you suffer from illness like sleeping disorder, neck pain, or during your menstruating period. While you are having babies, be careful when you try to do full boat pose. This Yoga pose requires you to balance on the tripod of your sitting bones and tailbone.
If you suffer from the neck injury, try to stop doing bridge pose for now. Bridge pose although calms the brains and rejuvenates tired legs, it requires you to lie on the back of your head on the floor with your chest bending upwards and hence giving a lot of strains on your neck!
When you have the knee injury, be take careful precautions while doing head-to-knee forward bend because you are required to bend your knees while bending forward with your head touching on of your ankles...
Remember alright, if you feel pain at your knees, it is time to stop immediately and speak to your teacher.
You must stay away from downward-facing-dog Yoga pose, when you are in the late stages of pregnancy. Use cautions practising this pose when you suffer from high blood pressure! The pose requires you to come onto the floor on your hands and knees while setting your knees directly underneath your hips and your hands slightly forward of your shoulders. In addition you need to Spread your palms, index fingers parallel or slightly turned out, and turn your toes under.
Just stop doing Yoga for the moment if you are advised to stop.
You want to be extremely careful when you suffer from high-blood pressure. If you raise your arms above your head it may make your high-blood pressure worse
There are a lot of other pitfalls that I can keep telling you, but the point is Yoga can be dangerousThere is no doubt about it! As we walk the tightrope between modern life and our animal instincts, we human race wants to find balance in our daily lives, and also in our bodies, our minds and our environment.
I bet you had experienced working up in the middle of the night? It proves that your brain is constantly thinking, at subconscious level! Just as what we agreed earlier, a yoga practice is an excellent way to soothe nerves that are in a permanent state of panics.
Yoga helps balance out our chronic stress, and thus one must do it!
