日产发表三座都市车Pivo最早还是在2005年的东京车展上,随后该车也在北京及日内瓦等国际重要车展中频繁亮相并受到了广泛的欢迎。具有独特设计元素的Pivo近日又有了新的消息，日产官方已于10月5日宣布：将延续Pivo相同的概念在即将揭幕的东京车展中发表Pivo的第二代产品。
据悉，Pivo 2将延续和前一代概念车相同的设计理念，将环、乐趣、实用以及独特的人车关系传递给大众。另外Pivo 2也将采用日产所研发的锂电池作为动力来源，小巧的尺寸让其不会占用Pivo 2原本就非常有限的空间。而包括转向和煞车系统，也都会采用先进技术。
当第一代的Pivo亮相时，其独特的可旋转座舱设计就体现了在拥挤的都市中使用方便的特点增加了其便捷性，也因此获得了非常高的好评。而在Pivo 2的设计中除了延续这一概念，厂家方面也做出了近一步的研发：在Pivo 2的四个车轮内都装上了日产的In-wheel 3D马达，它们可达90度的转向也让Pivo 2除了可以进行前后行驶，更可以进行左右平移。
与第一代Pivo采用左右双侧滑门不同的是，Pivo 2的车门设置在车头并采用侧开设计，通过可360度旋转的车舱，Pivo 2可以让三名乘客可同时进入车内；在座舱内部Pivo 2也将控制开关降低到最少，以简约的风格呈现。而蓝色和米色所组成的座舱，更营造出让人能充分缓解压力的轻松氛围——也许自从进入Pivo 2的那一刻便预告了一段愉快旅程的开始。
日产方面表示，Pivo 2将会在10月27日与其它数款量产、概念车一同在东京车展亮相，不过在此之前，Pivo 2还将于10月13日及14日在日产位于东京银座的画廊进行预展。

Fresh “Lovely More” NISSAN Releases New-Model Citied Concept Vehicle
The three-seater citied vehicle, Pivo, was firstly unveiled by NISSAN at 2005’s Tokyo Motor Show. Subsequently, it was displayed frequently at the international main motor-show, such as in Beijing and Geneva, and gained wide welcome. The Pivo, with unique design elements, had news recently. The NISSAN official proclaimed on oct.5th that PivoⅡwould be unveiled at the approaching Tokyo Motor Show and the new Pivo would share the same concept with PivoⅠ.
It is reported that the PivoⅡ will continue the same design concept of PivoⅠand pass the information of environmental protection, enjoyment, practical utility and particular relationship between the vehicles and mankind. Besides, the lithium battery, developed by NISSAN, will be adopted as the power source of PivoⅡand save the limited space in the cabin because of its little size. Moreover, PivoⅡ’s steering system and breaking system will adopt the innovative technology too.
When PivoⅠwas unveiled, its unique rotatable cabin had embodied the convenience of being used in the crowded city, which also made PivoⅠfavourably reviewed. PivoⅡwill be well improved as well as following on the previous concept. There are In-wheel 3D motors, developed by NISSAN, in the four wheels. These motors can revolve 90 degrees themsevles and make PivoⅡbe able to not only go back and forth but also translate left and right.
Being different from the sliding door on both sides of the PivoⅠ, PivoⅡ’s door is installed in the front. Through an innovative cabin that revolves 360 degrees, three passengers can get on PivoⅡat the same time. PivoⅡalso simplifies the controlswitch to the least in the cabin to show a simple style. Furthermore, the cabin, being composed of blue and beige materials, creates an relax atmosphere to make the user relieve stress—maybe as soon as getting on the PivoⅡ, you will enjoy yourself and have a pleasant journey.
As is reported by NISSAN, PivoⅡwill be on display at Tokyo Motor Show together with other mass-produced and concept vehicles. However, PivoⅡwill be on preview at the company's Nissan Ginza Gallery in downtown Tokyo during Oct. 13th to 14th.
