One day, a woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said,"I don't think I know you , but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat.""Is the man of the house at home?"they asked. "No," she said. "He's out." "Then we cannot come in." they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go to tell them I am home and invite them in.""We can not go into a house together." they replied. "Why is that?" she wanted to know. One of the old men explained:" His name is Wealth,"he said, pointing to one of his friends, and then pointed to another one. "He is success, and I am love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss whth your husband which one of us you wanna be in your home."
The woman went in and told her husband what the old man had said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!" he said , "Since that is the case, let us invite 'Wealth' and let him come and fill our home with wealth!" His wife disagreed. "My dear. why don't we invite 'success'? " Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house . She jumped in with her own suggestion:"Would it not be better to invite 'Love'? our home will then be filled with love! "
"Let us take our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife . "Go out and invite 'love' to be our guest." The woman went out and asked the three old men, "Who is 'love'? please come in and be our guest." "Love" got up and started walking toward the house. The other two also got up and followed him. To her surprise, the lady asked Wealth and success:"I only invited 'love'. Why are you coming in?"
The old men replied together ,"if you had invited 'Wealth' or 'success' the other two of us would stayed out , but since you invited 'Love' , wherever he goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!.

晚上当她的丈夫回家时，她告诉了丈夫所发生的事情。“你去告诉他们我已经在家了邀请他们进来吧"."我们不能一起进屋”他们答道。“为什么”妇女想知道原因。其中一位老人解释道：他的名字叫财富，并且指向他的这位朋友。然后指向另外一位朋友说道：他是成功，而我是爱。他又补充道：现在你去和你的丈夫讨论一下你们想邀请我们之中哪一位进屋。
于是妇女走进房门告诉丈夫老人们所说的。她的丈夫听了极其高兴，说道：太好了！“既然这样的话，我们就邀请财富让他进来，让我们家充满财富吧”。但是他的妻子不同意，“我的天，我们为什么不邀请成功呢”？他们的媳妇在房屋隔壁一角听到了他们的对话，她打断了对话并且给出了自己的意见：为什么不邀请爱呢？让我们家充满爱不是很好吗？“我们还是听从媳妇的意见吧”丈夫对妻子说到。“出去邀请爱作为我们家的客人吧”。妇女走出门问了三位老人“谁是爱，请进门成为我们家的贵客”。爱站了起来走向屋子，另外两位也起身跟着他。妇女很惊讶，问了财富和成功：我只是邀请爱，为什么你们要进来呢？”两位老人异口同声回答道:如果你邀请了财富或者成功，我们两个之中的一个会离开，但是你既然选择了爱，无论他走到哪里，我们都要伴随他，有爱的地方就有财富和成功！
