Rejuvenate You:
It’s not so much about what your bedroom looks like but how it makes you feel!
The energy in your bedroom needs to feel deeply, deeply calming and nurturing to all your senses. It is a sacred space that’s sole purpose is to rest, repair and rejuvenate you. Your bedroom speaks directly to your soul. It reflects your connection to yourself.
Your bedroom is not a multi purpose room. It is not your office. It is not your exercise room. And it is certainly and most definitely not your storage room.
Your bedroom is the most sacred and intimate space you have. It is your escape from the outside world. You need to be able to rely on your bedroom, know that its always there for you and comforting you by pouring a continuous stream of nourishment into the core of your being.
Make your bedroom your new best friend for rejuvenation.

Identifying the energy suckers in your bedroom is the first step towards rejuvenating your bedroom. Eliminate the toxic energy, remove the overstimulating, then infuse with a good dose of yin energy which is peaceful, gentle and calming.
The new mantra for your bedroom from now on is: “I love my bedroom and my bedroom loves me”.
1. Remove everything from under your bed:
Stuff that is unused, unwanted, unloved or broken is clutter. Clutter is dead, stagnant, toxic energy that adds no value whatsoever to your life. In Feng Shui there is a belief that clutter stored under your bed represents sleeping on old unresolved issues. You are sleeping on a tangle of confused energy. Remove everything from under your bed now.
2. Clear the emotional clutter:
There are many different types of clutter that can energetically block rejuvenation in your bedroom. If you are unsure then it may be a good idea to read my article the Emotional Cost of Clutter:
Rejuvenate the atmosphere in an instant by clearing out your wardrobes and en suite ….. off you go.
3. Eliminate anything electrical:
Rejuvenate your bedroom by choosing to make it an electrical free zone. I strongly believe the radiation emitted from electrical things is harmful.
Remove as many electrical items as you can, switch to a battery operated clock and turn any electrical things off at the wall when not in use. I saved 25% off my electricity bill by doing this.
Particularly avoid electrical stuff within arms reach of your head at night.
The only electrical item I have in my bedroom is a small CD player (well away from my bed) to add delicious songs and sounds to my room. I also use it for guided meditations.
4. Avoid sleeping near the power box:
If your bed head adjoins the wall that houses the power box for your home then move your bed. There have been too many research articles over the past 20 years suggesting ill health was caused by sleeping in close range to the power box.
5. Calm the energy down:
Remove pictures, colours and things which could over stimulate your nervous system or mind. Even too many books beside your bed can block deep rest. Mirrors are a great one for over stimulating a bedrooms energy. Cover your mirrors at night and see if you notice a difference.
Exercise equipment, computers, TV and work papers are a definite no, no. Your bedroom is not a multi purpose room. The more stimulating things you can remove from your bedroom the better chance you have of making the space calmer and ultimately more rejuvenating.
6. Check for sharp pointed corners from your beside table:
This piece of wisdom is from my days when I was a Feng Shui teacher. Sharp pointed corners aimed at the body cause the energy to rush and pierce or dent our auric fields. Eventually an ache or pain will surface directly in alignment with the flow of the sharp pointed corner. To remedy cover or turn the beside table slightly away from aiming at your body. If you are needing some more solutions let me know as I’ve over a decade of tips in my files.
7. Know the history of your mattress:
If your mattress has a happy history great. If your mattresses has a sad, upsetting or distressing history then I would strongly suggest getting a new mattress. No one needs to be sleeping on a field of energy that is not conducive to rejuvenation.
Cleanse your mattress periodically by sprinkling it with rock salt and leave for at least 5 hours. Just like the ocean, sea salt and rock salt absorb negative energies.
Latex mattresses are the way to go.
8. Love your bedding and nourish your senses:
The touch, smell, visual appearance of your bedding interacts with your senses. Make sure you have the bedding which you absolutely love. Natural fiber is better and of course organic is even better again. Even put a few drops of the essential oil lavender (or oil of your choice) into your final wash cycle. It leaves your sheets smelling yummy.
This reminds me, I am in urgent need of some new bedding. When I think of my doona cover, pillow and sheets, I think nice colour but old and tired. Good excuse for a good dose of shopping therapy.
9. Infuse the room with calming energy:
This is my sanity saver, my special treat. The days I don’t fill my bedroom with yummy energy I certainly notice the difference. Firstly sound is a great way to shift, uplift and enhance the energy of any space. Most days I leave music playing continuously in my bedroom even if I am not there. My latest most precious piece of music is The Essence CD by the awesome Prema Deval. You can visit their web site and listen to her music firsthand. She has the voice of an angel. It is gentle, calming and speaks to your soul.
Secondly I use essential oils to add regular doses of calming energy into my bedroom. Again its often throughout the day that I light a candle to my essence oil burner. That way by the time night has fallen my bedroom has received hours and hours of yummy energy. This is my gift to myself.
The oils I use change often but at the moment vetiver seems to be the most calming and grounding for me. Let your intuition be your guidance.
Thirdly my bedroom is where I meditate, so again more peaceful calming energy being added to my room.

1o. Add rejuvenation to your bedside table:
What you see last thing before you go to bed and first thing in the morning leaves an impression in your being. In most cases its probably your beside table.
Lets make sure the beside table offers rejuvenation to you in the form of either images such as a buddha, photo of happy holiday, perhaps your favourite affirmation card, crystals that you know and love, candles, oil burner. In other words whatever rocks your world with uplifting thoughts have on your beside table.
Avoid mobile phones, chargers, too many books all calling for your attention at once or anything else that may take your mind away from rest and rejuvenation.

你的卧室是你拥有的最神圣和私密的空间,使你能够逃离外面的世界。你只需要依靠你的卧室,知道它总是在那儿,持续向你灌输营养物质到你的内心深处来安抚你。

使你的卧室焕然一新的第一步是找出你卧室的能量吸取源。减少有毒能量,避免环境刺激,然后充满适量剂量的阴气,这样会平和、轻柔和平静。
从现在开始对于你的卧室新的真言就是“我爱我的卧室,我的卧室爱我。”
1. 移走所有你床底下的东西
不用的,不需要的,不被喜爱的或者是损坏的填塞物是很杂乱的,这是一种死气沉沉的、停滞的和有毒的能量,对于你的生活不会有任何的价值。在风水学说中,有一种说法是在你床下储存杂乱的物品代表着睡在老旧的未解决的事物上。你正睡在一团混乱的能量上,现在开始就移开你床底下的所有东西。
2. 清除杂乱的情感:
在你的卧室里有很多不同种类的混乱会从能量上阻滞你焕然一新。如果你不确定,也许改改读读我的文章杂乱的情感消费,这也许是个好主意。
即刻清理你的衣橱和你整套的。。。来重新使空气焕然一新,你走你的。
3. 减少任何电器:
选择使你自己的卧室变成无电器空间来使你的卧室焕然一新。我强烈相信从电器发射出来的放射物是有害的。
尽你所能的移走多的电器设备,转向使用电池的闹钟并且在不用墙上的电子器具时关掉它们。我这样做的时候节省了25%的电费。
特别是在晚上避免电器离你的头很近。
在我卧室里唯一的电器是一个小型的CD播放器(离我的床还很远),来给我的空间添加美妙的音乐和声音。我还用它做指引性的沉思。
4. 避免睡在插头附近:
如果你的床头靠近你家的电源的安置墙,移开你的床。过去20多年有很多研究报道睡在电源附近会导致生病。
5.使能量平静下来:
移开图画,颜色和会过度刺激你神经系统或注意力的东西。即使床边摆有太多的书也会阻碍深层睡眠。镜子是一个大的刺激物,会过度刺激卧室房间的能量。在晚上盖着你的镜子并且留意是否会有不同。
毫无疑问,健身器材、电脑、电视和工作也是不可以的。你的卧室不是一个多重目的的空间,你从卧室移走的过度刺激的东西越多,你将越有机会使得空间更平静,最终也会焕然一新。
6. 检查你床边桌的利角:
这个是我当风水师的时候悟出来的。锋利的尖角刺到身体会导致能量的外泄,侵入或者削弱我们体内的五行之金。最终,这个过程直接导致疼痛或者痛苦。修补床边桌或是将桌子稍微离开你的身体。如果你需要一些更多的解决办法告诉我因为我已经在我的资料中记录了几十条的小窍门了。
7. 了解你床垫的历史:
如果你的床垫有着开心的历史,那太好了;如果你的床垫有着不好、难受或者是压抑的历史,我强烈建议你买个新的床垫。没有人需要睡在一片没有对重生有着传导作用的能量场。
定期清理你的床垫,喷上石盐,放置至少5小时。就像海洋,海岩和石盐会吸收到负面的能量,
乳液床垫也是不错的选择。
8. 喜爱你的被褥并且丰富你的感觉:
你的床垫的触感、味道和样子都在和你的感觉交流。确定你拥有自己完全喜爱的被褥。自然纤维好一些,当然有机的甚至更好。放上几滴薰衣草精油(或者你喜欢的精油)到你清洗被褥的最后一道工序,这样使得你的床单更好闻。
这样会提醒我急需换上一些新的被褥了。当我想到我的绒毛被被单、枕头和床单,我认为颜色还很好,但是太旧,用了太久。算是去购物治疗的好借口。
9. 让屋子充满平静的能量:
这是我的好办法,独家治疗。有时候我没有让我的方面充满美好的能量我当然注意到了不同。首先,声音是很好的方式去转移,上升和增强任何空间的能量。大多数时候我在卧室里持续的放音乐,就算我不在那儿。我最近最珍爱的音乐是可畏的Prema Deval精华碟。你可以访问他们的网站听她的一手音乐。她拥有天使般的嗓音,柔和,平静和你的灵魂对话。
另外,我用精油增加我卧室常规的平静能量。而且它通常都能维持一天,我点亮一只蜡烛来烧精油。那样,每当夜晚来临的时候,我的卧室已经吸收了好几个小时的美妙能量,那是我给自己的礼物。
我经常会换精油,但是对于我来说岩兰草似乎是最能平静和限制的了。让你的直觉来主导。
第三点,我会在我的卧室沉思,因此更多平和的能量会增加到我的房间。
10. 让你的床旁桌焕然一新:
在你上床之前最后一件事以及你早上起来第一件事会给你很深的印象。大多数情况下,很可能就是床旁桌。
确定你的桌上有让你焕然一新的东西,图像类例如一个佛、开心假期的照片,也许是你最爱的卡片,你喜爱的水晶,蜡烛,精油。换句话说,任何提升你思想的撼动你的世界的放在床旁桌上。
避免手机,充电器以及太多的书全分散了你的注意力,或者是其他的不能使你休息和焕然一新的任何东西。
