Designing for small spaces is a big deal as designers are faced with challenges to design multi-functional products that not only save space but are also high on aesthetic appeal. Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties. London based designer Brit Leissler came up with an ingenious designer piece that works as an arm chair in the day and transforms into a bed by the night. Wait, this is not one of those drop-down or pull-out beds that you get to see regularly. A flexible mattress is tucked away in between a cylindrical seat and a round container to create a comfortable arm chair. All you have to do is remove the mattress and spread it on the floor when it’s time for a snooze. Turn around the container and you have a neat bedside table. Check out the video after the jump.
