其实在国内自行车的数量已经减少了很多，取代的就是速度快价格便宜的电动自行车，当然自行车还是主流的代步工具。
自行车虽说小，但是数量多占用地面的面积也很多，而且被盗也是一个长期以来的老问题。这个“自行车树”采用较少的空间停放自行车，其控制面板采用指纹识别技术，防止频繁被盗的现象。
