Lately I have read numerous articles and publications about the life of Michael Jackson.  Many of these have been speculating Michael Jackson’s sexual orientation, whether or not he did engage in sexual acts with children, and just other “bizarre” aspects of his life.  But does it all really matter?

To me I don’t think it matters if Michael Jackson was gay or not.  This is obviously a topic that we will never know the complete truth and I don’t see any reason to discuss it.  I am a gay man but I don’t feel that my gay identity has anything to do with who I am or what type of person that I am.  I am still Jake regardless of my sexual orientation and Michael Jackson is still Michael Jackson.  Knowing if he was gay or straight does not change the person he is and the good things he has done.

I am getting sort of tired of all of this negative Michael Jackson criticism lately and I just wish he could rest in peace.  He was a man who did great things for people all around the world.  Michael was a man who was deeply misunderstood and what people don’t understand they often hate and I believe this is where a lot of his complications came from.

对我来说，不管他是否是同性恋我都觉得无所谓。很明显，这是一个我们永远无法得知真相的话题而且我也不觉得有讨论的必要。我是个同性恋但我不觉得我的同性恋事实会与我是谁或我是怎样一种人有关。不管我的性取向如何，我仍然是杰克，同样迈克尔·杰克逊仍然是迈克尔·杰克逊。即使知道他是个同性恋或异性恋都不能改变他这个人以及他所做的好事。

最近，我变得有点厌烦那些关于迈克尔·杰克逊的批评，我只希望他能安息。他是个为全世界做过许多好事的人。他也是个被人深深误解的人，人们不理解他、经常恨他 ，我相信这就是他许多并发症的来源。
