We heard about TWITTER exactly one year ago. And I just didn't get it. Why would someone really want to know if I was having a cup of coffee? Or running to a meeting? Or heading to the beach???

But I read a post from Michael Martine / Remarkablogger this week, that got me thinking. It's about networking. It's about exposure. It's about sharing. Now, I get it! How is someone supposed to find you, if you aren't there? We preach that all the time to clients...sign up and create a profile on every site you can. Be there. Be everywhere. And people will find you. The Web 2.0 and Social Media is about connecting people. MyBlogLog, BlogCatalog, MySpace, Facebook, Shelfari....be everywhere.

Even if you don't TWITTER at first, start following people. Make some connections. Check out the TWITTER BLOG. They have a new tool called QUOTABLY, where you can follow the replies to conversations.
